The SLAAH Fund at South Loop Animal Hospital And East Side Veterinary Center
Understanding that our clients are dedicated to the well-being of their pets but may fall into circumstances that don’t allow them to afford the care needed to ensure their good health, we have established the South Loop Aid for Animal Health (SLAAH) fund. This fund is designed to provide financial support to qualifying families and individuals, ensuring their pets receive the treatment they need in situations where they need it most.
Key details about the fund:
- Fund is for existing clients who have an established relationship with South Loop Animal Hospital or East Side Veterinary Clinic with a record of consistently following care recommendations outlined by our doctors.
- Clients will be asked for proof of hardship and can demonstrate that other payment options have been exhausted (care credit, scratch pay).
- Funding will be used only for treatments provided at our facilities.
- The fund will cover partial or full treatment costs based on the applicant’s financial situation and the severity of the pet’s condition.
- Funding will be prioritized to provide essential and/or critically needed treatments. Routine care and elective procedures will not be prioritized.
We are thrilled to be able to offer this support, and we hope it will ease the burden for families during difficult times, allowing them to focus on what matters most: the health and well-being of themselves and their pets.
