JESSICA N

Jessica is originally from Buffalo NY, where she worked extensively with animals in shelter medicine as well as zoological facilities. She is currently enrolled in the Vet Tech certification program from Purdue University, and working towards honing her skills while here at the clinic. . Outside of SLAH, her interests include lacrosse and photography. She shares her home with two adventurous terriers who are equally enamored of hiking and exploring or snuggling on the couch.

CLARK

Clark is from the Chicago area, and lives on the north side currently. Before coming to work with us at the clinic, he worked in shelters, primarily in animal husbandry and as intake and adoption specialist. He is the human companion to Ash the Labrador retriever mix, and Zuko the overly friendly domestic short hair cat. When he isn’t at work, he enjoys playing video games on his Nintendo Switch and hiking and mountain biking in the beautiful state parks around Chicago, or on the finding adventures on the lake front.

Janet is from the West Side of Chicago and still calls that area home. Before coming to work with us, she completed a program for her vet assistant certification. She was a volunteer at PAWS where she worked with the animals before they were adopted. She loves her furry family of cats- Yuki, Rocky, and Zero. When she isn’t at the clinic, you can find her practicing her Karate (she’s a blue belt!), playing video games, or learning the most exciting new K Pop dances.

CARISSA

DANI

CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Dani was born and raised on the South West side of Chicago and has a bachelor’s degree from UIC, in Human Development and Learning. Her love of animals is what brought her to South Loop Animal Hospital, and she hopes to one day combine her two passions and run her own practice in clinical psychology that incorporates pet therapy for adolescents and young adults. When she isn’t at SLAH, she can be found ogling over her 10 year old shih tzu and maltese mix, Chloe Bug, in the gym, or reading a book.
